OUR FOUNDER

I like to have fun and be creative when I write. The fact that I find the process of writing enjoyable is something my clients appreciate. My love of writing, my natural curiosity (my parents called it nosiness), and my desire to help others, is the reason I founded Book Mouse.

Coming from a large family full of colourful characters, I learned a thing or two about storytelling. Above all, I learned that a good storyteller engages their audience and leaves them wanting more.

If you have a story burning inside you, I guarantee it’s worth sharing. Think about those funny, touching, inspiring, and unusual stories you tell family and friends at dinner parties. And what about the stories you grew up hearing your parents or older relatives tell—the ones that you used to be able to recite by heart because you heard them so often? Write all those down too, because time has a way of fading our memories. Jot them down in a notebook or on the back of a napkin if you have to. Those stories are a part of your legacy, and one day someone will remember you for them. You can create yourself a scrapbook, or make it family project. There are tons of useful online resources to help you with your writing.

The thing is, sometimes people want to get their story out, but they lack the time or inclination to do the actual writing. That’s where Book Mouse comes in.

Chronicling our experiences allows us to share acquired wisdom with others, and reflect on the interesting events of our lives. Book Mouse will show you how fun and rewarding the story writing process can be.
