DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING
This is an in depth review of your manuscript, taking into account the big picture as well as a line-by-line analysis of your entire manuscript. You will receive a detailed report with specific recommendations about how your manuscript can be improved, with a particular focus on point of view, narrative structure, scene versus summary, dialogue, plot, pacing, flow, and much more. You'll get a marked-up manuscript with comments, suggestions, and example revisions, as well as a detailed editorial letter explaining the feedback. If there are specific concerns you would like us to focus on, we will include those things in our analysis and editorial report as well.

LINE EDITING
A line edit focuses on the quality and clarity of writing. Changes will be made to eliminate wordiness, inconsistent tone and diction, incorrect word choice, as well as other issues at the language level.

DEVELOPMENTAL + LINE EDITING
This is also known as substantive editing and involves both a developmental edit plus a line edit. we will first do a review for the story elements and will then move on to refining and tightening the language. This comprehensive edit is especially popular among first time authors.

MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION
Sometimes authors aren't sure what level of editing is right for them, or they want a more affordable option for receiving basic feedback on the strength of their manuscript. With a Manuscript Evaluation, we will read the entire manuscript and provide an editorial feedback letter with our overall impressions of your book.
We will also include a recommendation for the type of editing your manuscript will benefit from, as well as a sample edit.
